•  You must supply the event/location

•  The stage site/area must be enclosed by means of security barriers, and or security personnel, to provide a safe working area

•  If the stage site /area is grass it is down to the event organiser (your self) to make sure there is means to tow our vehicle on and off site (so that as little as possible damage is done to the venue)

•  A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Stage 4 hire reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time until the deposit has been paid. The full outstanding balance must be paid at least 7 days before the event.

•  In the event of cancellations being made up to 24 hours before the event the balance is refundable.

•  The deposit is only refundable if the event is cancelled within 28 days of the booking being made. For bookings cancelled after that the deposit is non refundable.

•  Stage 4 hire will not tolerate any abusive or threatening behaviour towards any of our employees. In the event of this occurring the event will be terminated immediately and no monies will be refunded to you.

•  In the event that stage 4 hire incurs any damage to our equipment through the fault of yourself or any of your guests, you will be liable for full repair or replacement cost.

On arrival to the venue there must be adequate access to gateway from the road for an articulated vehicle. Where necessary, the event organiser shall provide personnel to control traffic/general public during this manoeuvre.

Our vehicles need a minimum clearance of 4.6m height and 2.7m width for access to the designated Stage Area/site. Therefore any trees, overhead structures or cables should be taken into consideration, both outside and within the venue.

Any weight limits within the venue that are likely to be encountered, especially bridges or manhole covers, need to be sufficient for the 11.5 tonne max weight of the stage. This is evenly distributed between four axles

The presence of any steep slopes within the venue that have to be traversed on route to the Stage Area, or any that are within the Stage Area itself must be discussed with stage 4 hire when booking the event. If either party has any reservations a site visit may have to be carried out.

Security barriers, and or security personnel to provide a safe working area before and after the event must enclose the area where the stage is to be erected .

The minimum floor space required for the stage is 16m long by 6m depth. These measurements are for the stage only. There also has to be provision made for the tractor unit that pulls the stage. This will need room to manoeuvre the stage into position and then un-hitch.
